UDINE, ITALY – After achieving a perfect 3-0 record in exhibition play, University of Pittsburgh head coach Suzie McConnell-Serio and the USA Basketball U19 Women's Team will begin preliminary rounds at the 2017 FIBA World Cup in Udine, Italy, Saturday.
As part of Group A, the six-time defending FIBA U19 gold medalist Team USA will face Mali first, at 12:30 p.m. ET Saturday, followed by games against China (Sunday, Noon) and Italy (Tuesday, 2:45 p.m.).

Recaps of each day's competition will be posted to PittsburghPanthers.com.
