Three Panthers Earn Fourth-Consecutive Win

The Panthers picked up wins in doubles action as Hughes (Waynesburg, Pa./Canevin Catholic) and freshman Christie D'achille (Gibsonia, Pa./North Allegheny) teamed in an 8-4 victory of the Tartans in the No. 2 slot, improving to 5-3 as a duo.

Also picking up their fourth-straight win, freshman Kristy Borza (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) and Davies won in the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Borza leads the team with a 20-5 record, while Davies is 10-9.
Sophomore Carlie Smith (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) posted a 6-3, 6-2 win and improved to 19-6, while D'Achille earned her fifth singles win of the season after recording the win in game three due to a 4-6 fall in game two.
