Becky Emmers enters her senior season with a 33-40 singles and 24-20 career doubles record as a Pitt Panther.
JUNIOR (2005): Sidelined with a season-ending injury in April...finished with an 11-17 singles and 7-15 doubles record...named to the ITA All-Academic team for a second consecutive year.
SOPHOMORE (2004): Continued to improve, adding 12 more singles wins and nine doubles victories...named to the Big East Academic All-Star Team for a second straight year...also named to ITA All-American Team.
FRESHMAN (2003): Finished the season with a 14-12 singles record and a 4-3 doubles record... named to the Big East Academic All-Star Team...also named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Providence High School in Charlotte, N.C. where she was a four-year letterwinner under coach Sandy Martin...two-time Southwestern Class 4A Player of theYear...four-time All-Mecklenburg First Team selection...four-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner...named Panther Pride Athlete of the Year Award winner as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born September 8, 1983...daughter of Tom and Bobbi Emmers...has two brothers, Scott and Brett...majors in Communication & Rhetoric.

top spin on the ball. We will be excited to for her return
from injury and rehab. Becky gives the team academic
leadership and is greatly improved in her doubles play.'
