Swim & Dive Has Program-Record 47 Student-Athletes Named to All-ACC Academic Team

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh men's and women's swimming and diving team saw a program record 47 student-athletes placed on the All-Academic Team this year.
Pitt's men's and women's programs each set program records for All-Academic Team honorees.
The men's program saw 23 student-athletes awarded while the women's program saw 24 student-athletes awarded with his academic honor.
All-ACC Academic Team Consideration Criteria
• Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average for their career as well as a minimum 3.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester/quarter.
• Graduate students must have an undergraduate and graduate career minimum grade point average of 3.0 as well as a minimum 3.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester/quarter.
• Athletic criteria includes participation in the ACC Championships and/or NCAA Championships.
