
Women's Soccer Drops Road Match to No.3 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Pitt women's soccer team (5-10-2, 1-8 ACC) fell 2-0 to Virginia on Sunday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium.
The Cavaliers struck early, as Lia Godfrey scored in the third minute and added her second goal in the 19th to extend Virginia's lead.
Pitt recorded 10 shots, including two on goal. Margaret Wilde led the Panthers with three shots, while Magali Gagne added two. Katie Ellermeyer and Ellie Rowlands each registered one shot on goal. Goalkeeper Abby Reisz finished with three saves.
