
Reed Finishes 16th on 1-Meter at NCAAs

Highest Finish Since 2017
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Senior Dylan Reed scored a 322.210 in the consolation finals of the 1-meter competition – finishing in 16th place overall on the second day of the Men's NCAA Championships at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center, Thursday afternoon.
"It was a great first day of diving at NCAAs with Dylan scoring and Cam showing a strong performance," said head diving coach Katie Kasprzak. "It's great to see Dylan bouncing back and showing great improvement from his setback at Zones. We are excited to see what the next two days will bring."
Reed placed the highest any Panther has finished under Coach Kasprzak's instruction and the highest since Dominic Giordano in 2017. His performance today earned him an Honorable Mention All-American honors. He tops his finish from last year's NCAA 1-meter where he finished 37th overall (287.65).
In the preliminary round of the 1-meter diving competition, sophomore Cameron Cash scored a 317.75 – placing 31st out of the 50 competitors.
Also competing today, senior Flynn Crisci posted a 1:45.57 in the preliminary round of the 200 IM.

The Panthers are back for the third day of competition tomorrow. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. with finals slated to stared at 6 p.m.
