Radio Dominates, Panthers Sweep Penn State in Diving

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Diving team delivered a commanding performance Friday night at Trees Pool, sweeping all four events against Penn State and qualifying nine Panthers for the NCAA Diving Zones.
Jess Vega led the women's team with a first-place score of 304.20 on the 3-meter board, followed closely by Mariana Osorio Mendoza (302.78) in second. Jocelyn Brooks (294.90) and Presley Deck (287.10) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, all earning NCAA Zone qualifying marks.
On the men's side, Ethan Radio posted a personal-best 325.35 to win the 1-meter, with Chase Marafioto taking second (320.85), both advancing to Zones.
The Panthers closed the night with two more sweeps. Deck claimed the women's 1-meter title (291.15), followed by Osorio Mendoza (283.80) and Vega (279.53). Radio dominated again on the men's 3-meter, earning another personal best (379.05), ahead of Luke Keale (331.20) and Marafioto (318.00). Both Radio and Keale secured NCAA Zone berths.
