GAME TWO
Pitt trailed by a run going into the bottom of the 10th inning. CJ Funk led off with a double down the left field line. With two outs, Tatem Levins walked. Pinch-hitter Luke Lambert tied the game up with an RBI-single through the left side. Bryce Hulett was hit by a pitch to load the bases for Anderson.

The Panthers sent it to extra innings in the ninth inning. Ron Washington, Jr. led off with a single through the left side, and pinch-runner Nick Giamarusti scored from first base on a double off the wall in left center from Hulett.

The Panthers battled from deficits all game as the Aggies plated five runs in the first inning. Pitt cut into the lead in the bottom of the inning on a two-run homer to right field from Washington, Jr., his 11th of the season.

Pitt tied it up in the next inning. Funk and Dom Popa walked with two outs, and both scored on a double to right center from Jeffrey Wehler. Wehler came home on an RBI-single to centerfield from Levins.

The Panthers took the lead in the next inning. Hulett led off with a walk. Anderson singled to centerfield, and Tommy Tavarez advanced both baserunners on a sac bunt. A sac fly to lef field from Brock Franks allowed Hulett to tag up safely.

The lead was stretched to two in the sixth inning. Popa drew a leadoff walk, stole second base and came home on a two-out, RBI-double to right center from Washington, Jr.

GAME ONE
Pitt produced the game's first run in the first inning. Levins and Washington, Jr. hit one-out singles. Consecutive walks from Anderson and Tavarez allowed Levins to jog home.

North Carolina A&T went ahead in the fourth inning on a two-run homer, but Pitt took the lead back in the bottom of the inning. Popa led off with a walk, and Wehler doubled down the left field line. A Levins' sac fly brought home Popa, and Washington, Jr. got home Wehler on a double to centerfield. With two outs, Funk walked with the bases loaded.

The Aggies went ahead for good with two unearned runs in the sixth inning and got a pair of two-run homers in the seventh and eighth innings.

NOTES
- Brady Devereux (4-1) picked up the win in relief, allowing four runs, six hits and three walks with two strikeouts in three innings.
- Ben Dragani threw five scoreless innings of relief to allow the Panthers to earn the win and allowed just two hits and two walks with five strikeouts.
- Billy Corcoran started the first game and went six innings with seven hits, three earned runs, no walks and seven strikeouts.
- Corcoran recorded his sixth start without a walk and allowed just two in his last six appearances with 39 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched.
- Pitt left 20 runners on base in game one, going 2-19 with runners in scoring position.
- Washington, Jr. collected five hits and four RBI in the doubleheader.
- Pitt had a 21-7 advantage in walks, led by Anderson with four.
- Wehler had a day-high three doubles.
