PITTSBURGH – Forty-five members of the Pitt track and field team will be in action at the 2018 ACC Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of Miami Thursday through Saturday at Cobb Stadium in Coral Gables, Fla.

The meet will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra Thursday starting at 6 p.m., Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m.
Sean Kenney returns to handle play-by-play, while former U.S. Olympic standout Dan O'Brien will serve as analyst. The pair will be joined by distance race analyst David Mitchell and Melanie Newman as sideline reporter.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Pitt will kick off ACC Outdoor Championship events with men's high jump Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Cobb Stadium and will complete the first day with the women's 10,000m at 7:55 p.m.
Friday will begin with men's long jump at 3 p.m. and will finish up with the men's 3000m steeplechase at 8:30 p.m.
Championship Saturday will commence at noon with the men's javelin, and will conclude with the men's 4x400m relay final at 8:40 p.m.

WHAT'S ON THE LINE

Medalists (top three) in each individual event will earn All-ACC first team honors. Student-athletes placing fourth through sixth in each individual event will comprise the second team.
Members of each winning relay team will be designated All-ACC first team.
Members of each second- and third-place relay team will earn All-ACC second team honors.

LAST YEAR AT THE ACC OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Three Panthers earned All-ACC honors at the 2017 ACC Outdoor Championships in Atlanta, Ga.
On the men's side, Matt McGoey finished fourth in the men's 3000m steeplechase to earn second team honors at 8:57.79. Desmond Palmer earned first team honors in the men's 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles, placing second in both races. He set a school record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 49.17.
For the women, Gillian Schriever picked up a bronze medal to go along with first team honors in the 5000m race wit ha time of 16:12.45.

Entering the ACC Outdoor Championships, Panthers rank in the top 10 in seven women's events:

- Kelly Hayes, fifth, 3000m steeplechase (10:23.08)

- Quadaisha Newkirk, eighth, 400m hurdles (59.41)
- Morgan Harvey, ninth, 400m hurdles (59.43)
- Miranda Salvo, ninth, 1500m (4:21.93)
- Natalie Hilton, 10th, 3000m steeplechase (10:41.36)
On the men's side, Panthers rank in the top 10 in seven events:
