2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor: Competed in seven meets during her fourth indoor campaign for the Panthers... Earned two points and posted a seventh place finish in the triple jump at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27) as she had a season-best leap of 39'11.50" (12.18m)... Also posted a 16th place finish in the long jump at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27) with a leap of 18'5.00" (5.61m)... Posted three victories in the long jump on the season including at the Penn State National (Jan. 31) as she notched a season-best jump of 19'10.75" (6.06m)... Collected wins in the long jump at the Youngstown State Icebreaker (Dec. 6) and Doug Raymond National (Feb. 14)... Posted a personal record time of 7.66 seconds in the 60m dash at the Penn State National (Jan. 31) as she took home 13th place... Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the second time in her career... ACC Honor Roll member for fourth time.
2019 Outdoor: Participated in the long jump at NCAA Division I East Region Preliminary Round (May 25) … Finished 10th in the long jump with a jump of 6.08m and 15th in triple jump with a distance of 11.90m at the ACC Championships (May 11) … Set a career-best of 12.21 in the 100m at the Akron-Campbell Wright Open (May 4) to place second and also took second in the triple jump with a distance of 11.24m … Set a career-high 6.29m in the long jump to place first and was also on the 4x100m relay team to finish second with a time of 46.33 at the Virginia Challenge (April 20) … Was on the 1600m steeplechase medley relay team to place fourth at the Raleigh Relays (March 30) with a time of 4:03.79.
2018-19 Indoor: Finished 13th in the long jump with a jump of 5.66m and ninth in the triple jump with a team-high 12.42m at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships (Feb. 23) … Placed second at the Arkansas Qualifier (Feb. 15) in the long jump with a distance of 5.91m … Took home first in the triple jump at the Kent State Doug Raymond Invite (Feb. 9) with a jump of 12.25m … Had a jump of 5.70m in the long jump to place fifth at the Power Five Invitational (Feb. 2) … Set a team-high of 6.11m in the long jump at the Hokie Invitational … Came out on top in the long jump with a jump of 5.92m at the Youngstown State Icebreaker (Dec. 7) and also finished fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.37m.
2018 Outdoor: Represented Pitt at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in long jump and triple jump … Earned All-ACC second team honors in triple jump at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a personal best mark of 12.75m, placing fifth … Had a wind-assisted season-best mark of 6.28m in long jump at the Campbell/Wright Open.
2017-18 Indoor: Named to All-ACC second team in long jump after finishing fourth with a personal best mark of 6.07m at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-24) … Also competed in the triple jump at the ACC Championships, placing 12th at 12.29m ... Recorded a PR time of 7.69 in the 60m at the Kent State National Qualifier (Feb. 10), finishing in fifth place … Recorded a PR 25.52 in the 200m at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 13), finishing in fourth place … Recorded a 5.84m in the long jump at the Youngstown State College Invite (Jan. 19), finishing in first place.
2017 Outdoor: Participated in the 100m at the 2017 Carnegie Mellon 5 Team Invitational (Mar. 25) with a time of 12.88 … Also participated in the 2017 Louisville Invitational (Apr. 14-15) in the 200m placing 17th with a time of 25.08 … Competed in the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational (Mar. 17) in the 100m with a season best time of 12.80.
2016-17 Indoor: Picked up the first win of her career in the triple jump (12.08m) at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala (Dec. 9) … Posted Pitt's top performances of the season with personal best marks in the long jump (5.59m) at the SPIRE Invitational (Feb. 10) and the triple jump (12.35m) at the Kent State Tune-Up (Feb. 18) … Finished 12th in the triple jump (12.04m) and 18th in the long jump (5.55m) at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25) … Seven top-10 finishes … Ran a season-best 7.78 in the preliminary rounds of the 60m dash at the SPIRE Invitational (Feb. 10) … Posted a season-best time of 26.75 in the 200m at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 14).
High School: Senior year became the state record holder in the long jump (18'11.5"). State winner in the 100m, 200m, and the long jump, was named Athlete of the Year 2016 by her local newspaper. Her junior year was the regional meet record holder in long jump (19' 1.5"). State winner for the 100, 200 and long jump. She was also the Hershey Nationals winner for long jump and triple jump her junior season. Was First Team All-League all four years of high school, also picking up Most Valuable Runner her junior year and Most Valuable Player her sophomore and freshman seasons. She ran club for Northwest Track and Field Club in 2014 and 2015, and also played basketball in high school.
Personal: Parents are Whitney Briggs and Mike Middleton. Has a younger sibling, Jerryl. Used to dance and was a volunteer service leader in high school for a K-12 art galley. Her mother, Whitney, played basketball at Pitt and her father, Mike, played football at Indiana.
