Panthers Resume Action at Wildcat Invite

Pitt Travels to Northwestern Friday
Doubles Draws | Singles Draws
PITTSBURGH – The Pitt tennis team continues fall play at the Wildcat Invite in Evanston, Ill., on the campus of Northwestern University beginning Friday, Sept. 29.
Action will take place at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center starting at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by 10 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
Friday will start with two rounds of doubles and one round of singles. Saturday and Sunday will consist of one round of each doubles and singles. Draws for doubles and singles can be found at the top of the page.
Teams participating at the invite are host team Northwestern, Marquette, Notre Dame, Montana, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, Chicago State, DePaul, UIC, Utah, Kentucky and Lewis.
Last time out, Pitt faced Miami, Florida Gulf Coast, and Auburn at the Miami Fall Invite. Senior Callie Frey and freshman Claudia Bartolome both went 2-0 in singles over FGCU and Miami.
In doubles, junior Gabriela Rezende and sophomore Jovana Knezevic went 2-1 with impressive wins over Auburn and FGCU.
