AS A SENIOR (2017-18): Apart of the first doubles team in program history to earn an alternate spot at the NCAA Championship with teammate Camila Moreno … The pair rank 36th in doubles in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings, becoming the highest ranked doubles team in program history … Frey and Moreno jumped into the rankings at No. 84 April 3 and previously ranked 40th, April 24 … The duo defeated three ranked opponents on the year, defeating No. 12 Rosie Johanson and Meghan Kelley of Virginia (March 25) and No. 61 Victoria Flores and Ida Jarlskog of Duke (April 13) … Won her first ACC singles match of the season against Louisville, beating Raven Neely 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 … Defeated Dasha Possokhova of No. 50 Boston College 6-3, 6-4 … Defeated Elene Tsokilauri of Boston College in the first round of the ACC Tournament to help the Panthers get their first ACC Tournament win in program history … Finished the season 16-14 in singles matches and 16-10 in doubles matches.
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17): Competed in the No. 4 and No. 5 spot for singles matches and the No. 1 spot for doubles matches … Won her first ACC match of the season against Syracuse where she beat Maria Tritou 6-3, 6-3 … Won first ACC doubles match of the season against Syracuse with partner Amber Washington and went on to take down the No. 55 doubles team from Virginia Tech … Finished the season 15-16 in singles matches and 18-13 in doubles matches.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Competed in the No. 3 and No. 4 spot for singles matches and No. 2 spot for doubles matches…Capped a nine match singles win streak in the middle of the season with a victory over No. 61 Penn State’s Daria Sapogova…Won her first ACC singles matchup of the season against Louisville where she beat Ola Mally 6-2, 6-2…Won first ACC doubles match of the year against No. 12 Miami with partner Carina Ma and went on to take down opponents from No. 55 Boston College and No. 31 Clemson in the following weeks…Finished the season 20-20 in singles matches and 12-16 in doubles matches.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15): Competed in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in doubles and the No. 3 and No. 4 positions in singles...Won three of her first four singles matches in ACC play...Tied for a team best nine singles wins in tournament play...Finished with a 2-1 record in both singles and doubles at the Bulldog Invitational...Ended the season with an overall record of 14-23 in singles and 9-18 in doubles.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four year varsity standout at nearby Mt. Lebanon High School, Frey was a four-time section champion and a two-time WPIAL champion ... Finished her high school career with an overall mark of 119-12 ... Placed second in the state in singles as a junior and third as a senior ... her junior year she became the first WPIAL champion from Mt. Lebanon in 28 years ... Middle States Sportsmanship Award winner as a sophomore ... two time Almanac MVP Performer ... Won the ITA Mt. Lebanon Summer Circut doubles title in 2014 with current teammate Audrey Ann Blakely.
