Washington has been with the Panthers since she came to the team as a freshman in 2010 after a successful career at Mounds Park Academy where she had a 100-8 high school career record and won two state championships.
As a freshman, Washington saw action as one of the top doubles pairings, collecting eight doubles play. That year was springboard for the success she saw in 2011-12, as she was named the team co-MVP in her first season in the starting lineup.
Washington led the squad with a career-high 22 singles victories and ranked ninth overall in single-season wins. At one point during the season, she posted 16 straight-set wins.
With an increased leadership role in her final two seasons, Washington closed out her career with 16 singles victories and another 12 doubles victories.
This past season, Washington worked as the volunteer assistant coach, helping the team on an overall basis to improve in any area needed.
