Sina D'Amico enters her third season as dietitian for the Pitt football program. She joined the Panthers prior to their 2022 Sun Bowl championship season.
A native of Western Pennsylvania, D'Amico’s appointment with the Panthers marked a return home. She is a 2015 graduate of nearby Oakland Catholic whose experience includes time as a University of Pittsburgh sports nutrition fellow and intern.
Prior to Pitt, D'Amico served as a sports dietitian at the University of Illinois and dietitian fellow at the University of Maryland. She also owns professional sports experience. In 2020, D’Amico was a nutritionist for the Baltimore Orioles’ minor league affiliates.
D'Amico earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Penn State in 2019. A Dean’s List student, she received induction into the Health and Human Development Honor Society.
She is a licensed dietitian nutritionist by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing.
