PITTSBURGH – Cross country's Camy Kiser and football's Kenny Johnson have been named Pitt's PNC Achievers of the Week for their standout performances this past week.
Kiser was the top finisher for the Pitt women at the Paul Short Run. She ran for a new personal best time of 20:18.2, nearly a 30 second improvement from her previous best, in the 6k race. Kiser boasts the 20th best time out of 1,357 female collegiate athletes who raced at the event last weekend.
Johnson had a career day in Pitt's 48-7 win over Boston College this past Saturday. The junior caught nine passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' first ACC win of the season. Johnson's receptions and receiving yards were both single-game career highs. The York, PA native currently ranks eighth in the ACC in all-purpose yards, averaging 105.6 yards per game. The win marked Pitt's second-largest margin of victory against a conference opponent in program history, and the largest since 2016.
