2004: Hellon started all 57 games at shortstop as a freshman and was among the team leaders in most offensive and defensive categories...hit .228 with 37 hits, including nine extra-base hits, three home runs and 16 RBIs...finished second on the team in bases on balls with 16 and four steals in five attempts...ranked third on the team in putouts with 118 and was first in assists with 131...had a six-game hitting streak from March 20-28, hitting .500 (9-for-18) with four runs scored, five RBIs and a home run vs. St. Mary[apos]s (March 20)...also went deep against Cleveland State (March 5) and in the second game of a doubleheader vs. Villanova (April 3)...a Big East Academic All-Star.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hellon helped Rancho Cordova High School to three consecutive Sierra Valley Conference championships and a combined record of 114-30...batted .374 for her career...a three-year member of California Breeze U-18 team...Freshman of the Year honors at Rancho Cordova...Sacramento Bee first team honors as a junior and senior...four-time Sierra Valley Conference all-city team honoree...Applebee[apos]s Athlete Hero Award recipient...also lettered in basketball and volleyball.
