Six Panthers Named to Softball America ACC Freshman Watch List

PITTSBURGH — Six members of Pitt softball's 2026 freshman class have been named to the Softball America ACC Freshman Watch List, recognizing the league's top newcomers heading into the season.
Representing the Panthers are catcher Calle Henne, infielders Gracie Helton and Addison Oberbreckling, outfielder Addison Toczek, and pitchers Amelia Long and Mia Kliethermes.
The six honorees are part of Pitt's 13-player freshman class, one of the largest groups in recent program history. The watch list highlights freshmen expected to make an immediate impact for their respective teams during the upcoming season.
Pitt opens the 2026 season Feb. 6-8 at the NFCA Leadoff Classic, where the Panthers will face off against NCCU, Longwood, Michigan State, Auburn and Eastern Kentucky to begin the year.
