Pitt Softball Announces 2026 Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team has unveiled its 2026 schedule, featuring 53 games over four tournaments, 24 conference matchups, and 16 home games for the upcoming season.
The Panthers will open their season at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida (Feb. 6-8), facing NCCU, Longwood, Michigan State, Auburn, and EKU. Pitt will then head to Texas for back-to-back weekends, competing in the Houston Invitational (Feb. 12-15) and the Texan Classic at Tarleton State (Feb. 20-22). In Houston, the Panthers will face off against a pair of Big Ten opponents in Michigan and in-state rival Penn State. Pitt will meet EKU once more as the early road swing concludes with the EKU Colonel Classic in Richmond, Kentucky (Feb. 27-Mar. 1).
Pitt will play eight ACC series, hosting Boston College (March 20-22), Syracuse (April 2-4), Clemson (April 10-12), and California (May 1-3). Road series include Stanford (March 6-8), NC State (March 13-15), Virginia (March 27-29), and Louisville (April 17-19).
Highlighting the non-conference slate is a home matchup with Penn State (March 31) and a road contest at Ohio State (April 15). Additional midweek contests include matchups with Robert Morris, Youngstown State, Ohio University, Marshall, and a doubleheader against Dayton.
