Pitt continues the 2026 season with five games at the Houston Invitational. The Panthers open the tournament against host Houston at 7 p.m. (ET) on ESPN+. Thursday's game is the only contest that will be streamed.
Alena Ball played a key role in the weekend, batting .611 (11-for-18) while also showcasing her speed by going 4-for-5 on stolen base attempts. She was especially pivotal against Auburn, going 4-for-5 at the plate and scoring two runs, consistently getting on base and creating scoring opportunities for the Panthers. She was named to the NFCA Leadoff Classic All-Tournament Team.
Kyra Pittman leads the Pitt pitching staff with a 2-0 record in three appearances, 12.1 innings pitched, while Gwen Sparks went 1-0 in two appearances and 12.2 innings pitched.
