Five Panthers Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team had five Panthers earn spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.
Alena Ball, Ahmari Braden, Bekah Duck, Shelby Frazier, and Gwen Sparks were all recognized as Academic All-District honorees.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and achieve a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA while competing in at least 90 percent of the team's competitions or made at least 17 appearances in the circle.
