Weather Shifts Pitt-Duke Showdown to Saturday at the Petersen Events Center

PITTSBURGH – Due to expected inclement weather, the Pitt women's basketball team will face No. 21 Duke at the Petersen Events Center Saturday Jan. 24 instead of Sunday, Jan. 25. The game will tip at 4 p.m. and can be viewed on ACCNX.

THE OPENING TIP
- The Pitt women's basketball team dropped an 84-46 decision to Virginia on Thursday night inside of John Paul Jones Arena.
- Theresa Hagans Jr. led the Panthers with 13 points, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, and dished out five assists.
- Fatima Diakhate finished with 12 points and seven rebounds, recording her 10th double-figure scoring performance of the season.
- Carla Viegas chipped in seven points and Lauren Rust pulled down seven rebounds.
SERIES HISTORY
- Duke leads the all-time series, 17-0.
- Four games have been played on a neutral court, including once in the Caribbean Classic in Cancun, Mexico and once in the Maggie Dixon Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
- The Panthers and the Blue Devils have met twice in the ACC Tournament.
SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
- Duke is undefeated in conference play and enters Saturday's matchup ranked No. 21 in the AP Poll.

- Toby Fournier leads Duke in scoring (17.6 ppg), rebounding (7.5 rpg), and blocks (2.3 bpg). Fournier is second in the conference in blocked shots.
- Ashlon Jackson (12.7 ppg), Taina Mair (11.3 ppg) and Delaney Thomas (10.5) round out the Blue Devils' double-figure scorers.
- Leading Duke in assists is Mair with 5.2 assists per game, good for fourth in the ACC.
