Pitt Announces 2025 Women’s Soccer Promotional Schedule

PITTSBURGH – Fans can ready themselves for another exciting season of women's soccer at Ambrose Urbanic Field with a full promotional schedule. The Panthers play 11 home matches this season, including three contests against teams ranked in the top 25 of the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll – No. 16 Santa Clara (Aug. 31), No. 7 Stanford (Sept. 14), and No. 2 Notre Dame (Oct. 30).
Season long promotions include youth team recognition, postgame autographs, and Happy Hour Thursdays.
- Youth Team Recognition – Local youth soccer teams are Invited to every game to receive in-game shout outs and participate in gameday activations. If you would like to reserve admission for a group of 15+, please contact Director of Marketing Trevor Fontan (tfontan@athletics.pitt.edu) with your desired game(s), group name, and estimated number of attendees with your group.
- Postgame Autographs – Kids will have the opportunity to receive postgame autographs from the team for every home game this season
- Happy Hour Thursday– The concession stand will have 50% off domestic beers from the time gates open until kickoff during every Thursday home game.
FULL PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
Aug. 14 – Xavier – 7 p.m. – Season & Home Opener
- Join the Panthers for the home opener as they kickoff the season against 2024 NCAA Tournament qualifier Xavier. The first 250 fans will receive the 2025 Pitt Women's Soccer Team poster.
Aug. 21 – Ohio – 5p.m. – Soccer Night in Pittsburgh
- It's a Soccer Night in Pittsburgh with a Pitt soccer doubleheader at Ambrose Urbanic Field. Show you Panther pride by repping the Pitt Soccer crest.
Aug. 28 – Cal State Fullerton – 7 p.m. – Welcome Back Students
- Start the semester strong and join the raucous student body as they head up the hill to unwind during the first week of classes.
Aug. 31 – Santa Clara – 1 p.m. – Youth Day
- Youth teams throughout the Pittsburgh area are invited out to the pitch to watch the Panthers take on a ranked non-conference opponent.
Sept. 4 – Cincinnati – 7 p.m. - Pups at the Pitch
- Man's best friends are welcome at Ambrose Urbanic Field to take in a battle of the cats. The first 150 pup owners receive Pitt branded pet bandanas and bowls.
Sept. 7 – Bucknell – 1 p.m. - Senior Day
- Join us on the home turf as we honor our senior class.
Sept. 11 – Cal – 7 p.m. – ACC Home Opener
- Help the Panthers start conference play strong. Keep an eye out for a special announcement about this match.
Sept. 14 – Stanford – 1 p.m. - Alumni Day
- Pitt welcomes back its alums as it battles national power Stanford on its home turf after playing the Cardinal to a 1-1 draw in Palo Alto last season.
Sept. 25 – SMU – 7 p.m. - International Night / MVP Night
- The Panthers return to Ambrose Urbanic Field after 11 days away to honor Pitt's MVPs (Most Valuable Professors) as well as their international fans.
Oct. 17 - NC State – 7 p.m. - Pink Game
- Friday night at Ambrose as the first 250 fans receive a pink Pitt shirt.
Oct. 30 – Notre Dame – 7 p.m. – Thursday Night Happy Hour & Regular Season Finale
- Pitt wraps up the regular season against the Fighting Irish who enter the season ranked No. 2 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.
