PITTSBURGH – Pitt women's soccer head coach Ben Waldrum has announced the addition of Eli Feuer to the coaching staff as assistant coach and goalkeeper coach.
"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Eli Feuer to the Pitt family as our new goalkeeper coach," said Waldrum. "Eli's proven track record of developing elite talent at the collegiate and professional levels makes him an incredible addition to our staff. The level of experience and knowledge he brings truly elevates this position for our program. Adding a coach of this caliber puts us in a fantastic position to achieve our goals for 2026 and beyond."
Feuer arrives at Pitt with extensive NCAA Division I experience, having most recently served in the same capacity at Troy University and USC Upstate. At Troy, he contributed to recruiting operations and goalkeeper training development, helping the program post a 1.08 team goals-against average while the starting goalkeeper earned multiple conference weekly honors.
Prior to his collegiate stops, Feuer spent five years at IMG Academy overseeing goalkeeper development across youth and elite pathways, working with professional, national team, and collegiate-bound goalkeepers.
Feuer's background also includes positions with New College of Florida, the Ohio South Olympic Development Program, Bexley High School, and SoccerPlus Goalkeeper Camps under former U.S. Women's National Team head coach Tony DiCicco. Over more than a decade in the game, he has specialized in goalkeeper training, talent identification, and player development at the youth, collegiate, and national levels.
Beyond his coaching work, Feuer is the founder of @goalkeepers, a global goalkeeper development platform with more than 500,000 Instagram followers.
A former collegiate goalkeeper at Earlham College and Wilmington College, Feuer earned his degree from The Ohio State University in 2020.
"I am incredibly excited to join the staff here at Pitt and compete in the ACC," said Feuer. "It is clear that there is a strong commitment to excellence, player development and building a championship culture. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a talented staff and contribute to a program with such high standards and ambition. I look forward to building relationships with the players and helping them compete for success on and off the field."
