Trevor Fontan joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in October of 2023 as Director of Marketing serving as the primary marketing contact for Pitt Men’s Basketball and Women’s Soccer.
Before arriving at Pitt, Fontan worked at Xavier University. He started with the Musketeers in 2021 as the Assistant Director of Marketing. While there, Fontan worked as the primary marketing contact for Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Women’s Basketball and Baseball. He served as the secondary contact for Men’s Basketball. He also oversaw the student internship program, band/cheer, and X-treme Fans (Student fan organization). Before returning to Xavier, Fontan held roles at Villanova University and Central Michigan University.
A 2019 graduate of Xavier University, Fontan majored in Sport Management and Advertising.
A Fishers, IN native, Fontan resides in Lawrenceville.
