Pitt Travels to Boston College, Friday’s Game Moved Up to 1 PM

PITTSBURGH - Pitt heads on the road for their third ACC series of the season as they make the trip to Chestnut Hill, MA for a three-game set this weekend against Boston College.
Due to inclement weather this weekend, Friday's game time has been moved up to 1 PM with the possibility of a double-header.
The Panthers took two out of three in their most recent trip to Boston College in 2022.
Pitt handled business at Penn State on Tuesday night with their 9-2 midweek road win. In their last two games against Penn State, Pitt has outscored the Nittany Lions 19-2.

• This season, Pitt has five comeback victories when trailing in the fifth inning or later.
• Pitt has scored 42 runs over their last three midweek wins. They have slugged nine home runs and combining for 41 hits.
• First baseman Luke Cantwell has had seven multiple-hit games in Pitt's last 11 contests. In his last 11 games, he is hitting .511 with 23 hits, 31 total bases, 11 RBIs and eight doubles while slugging .689. He is second in the ACC in on-base percentage (.548).
• LHP Ethan Firoved earned his fifth save of the year in Sunday's win against NC State. In nine appearances this year, Firoved has a 2.13 ERA with five saves, one win and 33 strikeouts.
• Sophomore third baseman Ryan Zuckerman launched his eighth home run of the year in Tuesday's midweek win at Penn State. He leads the team in home runs (8), runs scored (25), RBIs (30) and slugging percentage (.700). He is second in hits (35) and doubles (11).
• The Panthers' offense ranks 4th in the ACC in hit by pitches and 7th in the base on balls.
• The Panthers added 22 newcomers to campus for the 2025 season. Among them are 16 transfers and 6 freshmen. Per 64Analytics, the Panthers landed a top-20 transfer portal recruiting class.
