Pitt Releases 2026 Baseball Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt baseball program and head coach Mike Bell announced their schedule for the 2026 season today.
The Panthers are slated for a 55-game schedule that is highlighted by 27 games at home at Charles L. Cost Field. For the second consecutive year, all home games at Charles L. Cost Field this spring will be free of admission.
Pitt's 2026 roster is compiled of 19 returners and 21 newcomers. This year's recruiting class was ranked as the fifth-best in the ACC by 64Analytics.
For the sixth time in seven years, Pitt will begin their season in Port Charlotte, FL as they open their 2026 campaign with a three-game set vs. Western Michigan (Feb. 13 – 15).
The Panthers will then travel to Corpus Christi, TX for the Kleberg Bank College Classic to face off against Long Beach State (Feb. 20), Cal State Bakersfield (Feb. 21) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 22). Pitt most recently played in the Kleberg Bank College Classic in 2024.
Pitt then returns home for a six-game home stand that kicks off on February 25 for their home opener vs. Bucknell. They will welcome UNC Greensboro on the weekend (Feb. 27 – Mar. 1) before hosting Youngstown State (Mar. 3) and Ohio (Mar. 4) in a double midweek.
Pitt heads to the west coast during the university's spring break to visit San Jose State (Mar. 6 – 8) and Santa Clara (Mar. 10) before kicking off conference play at Standford (Mar. 13 – 15).
The Panthers will host ACC opponents Georgia Tech (Mar. 20 – 22), Wake Forest (Apr. 2 – 4), California (Apr. 10 – 12), Virginia (Apr. 24 – 26) and Notre Dame (May 14 – 16) at Charles L. Cost Field this spring.
In return, Pitt visits Stanford (Mar. 13 – 15), Louisville (Mar. 27 – 29), Virginia Tech (Apr. 17 – 19), Florida State (May 1 – 3) and North Carolina (May 8 – 10) during conference play in 2026. Pitt's trip to Louisville marks their first visit to face the Cardinals since 2017.
Pitt's home nonconference schedule includes Bucknell (Feb. 25), Youngstown State (Mar. 3 & Mar. 18), Ohio (Mar. 4), Mercyhurst (Mar. 31 & May 5), Akron (Apr. 8), Kent State (Apr. 29) and Penn State (May 12).
The ACC Baseball Championship will be held from May 19 – 24 at a site that has yet to be announced.
