Twelve Panthers Earn All-ACC Academic Baseball Team Honors

PITTSBURGH – Twelve representatives from the Pitt Baseball program were named to the All-ACC Academic Baseball Team on Tuesday afternoon, the conference announced.
It is the third year in a row that the Panthers have had at least twelve student-athletes earn Academic All-ACC honors.
Pitt's selections include RHP Sam Bryan, INF Carter Dierdorf, LHP Antonio Doganiero, INF Caden Dulin, INF Trey Fenderson, LHP Mikey Gray, OF AJ Nessler, LHP Brandon Reiter, RHP Michael Savarese, RHP Eddie Smink, OF Derrick Tarpley Jr., and INF Kai Wagner.
Bryan, Doganiero, Dulin and Nessler each earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for the second-consecutive season and second time in their careers.
INF Kai Wagner led all Panthers represented on this list with a 3.813 cumulative GPA throughout the 2025-26 academic year. During the spring semester, OF Derrick Tarpley led the group with a 4.0 GPA.
To earn All-ACC Academic Team honors, student-athletes must be enrolled at the institution at least one academic year, have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00 including a 3.00 GPA in most recent two semesters/three quarters and have competed in at least 50% of the team's contests. Pitchers must have participated in at least 20% of the team's contests.
