16 Panthers Qualify for NCAA East Regional Meet

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt track and field program will send 16 student-athletes to compete in the NCAA East Regional meet in Lexington, Ky. from May 22-25. The University of Kentucky will play host as competition will be held at the UK Track & Field Complex.

UP NEXT:
The top 12 finishers in each event will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The meet is scheduled for June 5-8 at Hayward Field. Ilse Steigenga has already punched her ticket to the championships in the heptathlon. She is seeded 18th in the country with her score of 5,637 points.
