2024-2025 Indoor: Appeared in six indoor meets for the Panthers, starting the season off strong with recording a personal best at the Nittany Lion Challenge in the high jump with a finish of 5’10.75” (1.80m) and taking home first place. She would later earn first place in the high jump as well at the Hokie Invitational.
2024 Outdoor: Ran in six meets, where Baldursdottir’s best performance came at the Virginia Challenge, where she placed fourth in the high jump with a finish of 5’7.75” (1.72m).
2023-2024 Indoor: Baldursdottir competed in six indoor meets this season, with a first placement for the high jump at the Jan. 13, 2024 Nittany Lion Challenge of 5'8.5" (1.74m). Placed second at the Penn State National Open (Jan. 26-27) with a 5'9.25" (1.76m) high jump. Achieved two third placements for the high jump at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational (5'7"/1.70m) and the Hokie Invitational (5'7"/1.70m). Competed in the 2024 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 5' 7.75" (1.72m) high jump.
2023 Outdoor: Competed in six outdoor meets for the Panthers. Baldursdottir added two first place finishes to her resume in the outdoor season. The first came at Pepsi Florida Relays in High Jump with a score of 1.74m. The second took place at Carnegie Mellon’s Last Chance Meet with a mark of 1.70m.
2022-23 Indoor: Appeared in five indoor meets for the Panthers. Baldursdottir’s highest placement came at the the YSU Indoor Track and Field Icebreaker where she placed second in the women's High Jump with a finish of 1.70m. Later that season, she would go on to record a personal best in the High Jump with a 1.77m score at the ACC Championships, earning fourth place at the meet.
Personal: Born in Reykjavik, Iceland…daughter to Baldur Palsson and Svava Steingrimsdottir…sister to Eidur and Esjar…majoring in engineering.
