84 Lumber to Sponsor Backyard Brawl at PNC Park

PITTSBURGH – It was announced today that 84 Lumber will sponsor the Backyard Brawl at PNC Park on Tuesday, April 30 between the Pitt and West Virginia baseball programs.
Pitt and West Virginia have a storied baseball history dating all the way back to 1939. In the past 85 years, the Panthers and Mountaineers have played each other 166 times which is nearly 60 more games played than Pitt's next closest opponent. West Virginia leads the overall series while Pitt leads the series in games which were played at home.
The Panthers and Mountaineers have played each other at PNC Park four times over the past five seasons.
Tickets will be $10, with discounts for University employees, alumni, and students. Call the Panthers ticket office at 800.643.7488 for promotional codes.
Gates will open an hour prior to first pitch. Tickets may be purchased online or at the PNC Park Box Office.
