
Panthers Primed for Two-Day Hokie Invitational at Virginia Tech

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete in the Hokie Invitational hosted by Virginia Tech at the Rector Field House on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 19-20. Events commence at 4 p.m. on Friday.

LAST TIME OUT – NITTANY LION CHALLENGE
The Panthers won three events at the Nittany Lion Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 13.
- Foluke Olujide-Ajibade threw for 21.07m in the weight throw, the second-best throw in Pitt history. Olujide-Ajibade's mark currently stands at 14th in NCAA Division I.
- Winnie Incorvaia won the women's 3000m race in 9:43.03, beating her previous best by more than seven seconds. Incorvaia's time moved her into seventh in school history.
- Eva Baldursdottir leaped 1.74m in the high jump to take first place in the event.
NEXT UP
The Panthers will return to Penn State for the second time this season for the PSU National Open on Friday, January 26th and Saturday, January 27th.
