
No. 21 Pitt Hosts Bowling Green for Senior Night

PITTSBURGH – The No. 21 undefeated Pitt Panthers (5-0-0, 0-0-0 ACC) are set to host the Bowling Green Falcons (2-2-0, 0-0-0) on Sunday, Sept. 3 at 4 PM.
This evening's matchup will recognize our senior, Chloe Minas, for Senior Night.

THE SERIES
- Sunday's matchup will be only the third meeting meeting between the Panthers and Falcons.
- Pitt and Bowling green currently hold a 1-1-0 record against each other.
- The Panthers look to continue their undefeated season and take the lead over the Falcons.
SCOUTING BOWLING GREEN
- Last time out, the Falcons posted a 2-1 win against Detroit Mercy on Thursday evening.
- Bowling Green scored first on Thursday, with Maya Dean shot from the center to score her goal.
- Detroit Mercy equalized the points, with both teams going into the half 1-1.
- Ellie Pool beat the last line of BSGU's defense to find the back of the net, earning the game winning goal of the night.
RECAPPING THURSDAY'S WIN
- The No. 21 Pitt Panthers team defeated the Duquesne Dukes Thursday evening at Ambrose Urbanic Field in front of 939 fans with a 6-1 takedown.
- The Panthers set the scene for the evening with goal by fifth-year Amanda West just after the five-minute mark.
- To top the night off, Anna Bout found the top center of the net to score a goal off of Mackenzie Evers and Evie Craven's assists. This was Evers and Craven's first point of the season and Craven's first of her collegiate career.
- The Panthers didn't just lead the night in goals. Pitt had 30-5 shots, 15-3 shots on goal, and 14-3 corner kicks.
