Pitt to Face No. 7 Boston College Saturday Afternoon

CHESTNUT HILL, MA – Pitt lacrosse hits the road for an ACC road contest against the No. 7 Boston College Eagles Saturday at 12 p.m. from Newton Campus Stadium.
In Pitt's last game, the Panthers defeated the Youngstown State Penguins at Highmark Stadium 13-9. Sophomore Jill Fenech put in an impressive performance, filling the stat sheet with three goals, two assists, five ground balls, four caused turnovers and five draw controls. Camdyn O'Donnell, Jenna Hendrickson and Sydney Naylor each scored a pair of goals in the midweek matchup too.
No. 7 Boston College sits at 8-3 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. The Eagles defeated Dartmouth 18-5 on Wednesday in non-conferecne action. They hold ranked wins over USC, UMass, Duke and Clemson. BC has three players with 40 points or more: Jenn Medjid (38 G, 15 A), Mckenna Davis (13 G, 33 A) and Belle Smith (26 G, 14 A). Freshman Shea Dolce has played the majority of minutes in the net making 42 saves.
Last season, Pitt fell to then No. 2 Boston College by a score of 19-12. Emily Coughlin and Maureen McNierney both netted a goal in the loss.
