Dayshanette Harris led the Panthers with a season-high 20 points in the loss.
Harris was the best player on the floor all night long for Pitt as she went for a season-high 20 points, her 10th career 20-point game, on 6-for-8 from the floor and 7-for-8 from the free throw line. Gabby Hutcherson finished off her night with 10 points while Liatu King had eight points and six rebounds in the loss.

FIRST QUARTER
- The Irish took the early 6-2 lead before the Pitt offense found their rhythm as Channise Lewis and Dayshanette Harris knocked down back-to-back triples to tie the game, 8-8, at the first media timeout.
- Out of the media timeout, Gabby Hutcherson made a driving layup and Emy Hayford netted back-to-back contested layups to give Pitt the 14-13 lead through 10 minutes.
- The Pitt defense held the Irish to just 27% shooting and four turnovers in the opening quarter.
