The Tigers got within one run via a solo homer (4-3) and took the lead in the top of the seventh, as Alia Logoleo hit a three-run home run to left to flip the game to a Clemson lead, 6-4.
Pitt got one run back in the bottom of the seventh courtesy of a Pavlick double. The Panthers threatened with a runner on second, two outs, but a groundout ended the threat as Pitt fell 6-5.
