Pitt Heads to South Bend for Final ACC Regular Season Game

PITTSBURGH – The Panthers travel to South Bend, Indiana for their last ACC regular season game of the inaugural season. Pitt plays Notre Dame Saturday at Arlotta Stadium with first draw scheduled for 12 p.m. The game can be streamed via ACC Network Extra.
Pitt (7-8, 1-6 ACC) is coming off of a road loss to Penn State Tuesday in University Park. Seven different Panthers found the back of the net and goalie Paulina DiFatta made 12 saves in the loss.
The Panthers have three players with over 30 points including Paige Petty with 45 (36G, 9A), Madisyn Kittell with 36 (17G, 19A) and Carlie Leach with 31 (24G, 7A). DiFatta is leading the ACC in saves with 142 and ground balls with 42.
Notre Dame sits at 5-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference. Most recently, the Fighting Irish lost to Boston College 16-10 in Newton, Massachusetts. Madison Ahern paces Notre Dame offensively with 39 goals and 11 assists (50 points). Goalie Bridget Deehan leads the Fighting Irish in the crease with 115 saves and a .447 save percentage.
The Panthers will finish the regular season with a home contest against George Mason on Tuesday, April 19 at 5 p.m.
