Pittsburgh- Jack Miller and Luke Henseler will race at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 19) at the OSU Greiner Family Cross Country Course in Stillwater, OK. Miller and Henseler will race in the Men's 10k starting at 10:10 a.m.
"Jack and Luke are looking forward to competing but also ending the season competing for one of the top 40 All-American spots," stated coach Brad Herbster. "At this time of the year, people are either just excited to be here or ready to compete at a high level."
The Panthers are coming off the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, in which Miller posted the highest finish by a Pitt runner in program history as he crossed the finish line in seventh place to claim All-Region honors. Henseler also secured his trip to NCAA's after finishing in 13th place and earning All-Region honors for the first time in his career.
"Jack and Luke are ready to bring the success they had a week ago at the regional meet forward to the NCAA Championships in Stillwater," continued Herbster. "Both of them have seen the course and understand the challenges and opportunities it has as this is their first NCAA Championship."
