The two teams split the four game series, as Pitt defeated the Eagles twice Friday afternoon.

Boston College (10-27, 6-19 ACC) opened the scoring in the bottom of the second, as Jenna Ergle hit an RBI single up the middle to put the Eagles up 1-0. Sophomore pitcher Makenzie Stiles came in to pitch, replacing junior Abby Edwards with one out and forced a pop up and a ground out to get out of the bases loaded jam.
