Panthers Prep for Four Fall Games this Weekend

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team is set for four fall games this weekend, including two at home Saturday and two on the road Sunday.
The Panthers will host Robert Morris Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by Fairmont State at 3 p.m. Pitt then travels to Ohio State Sunday afternoon and will face the Buckeyes in a double-header beginning at 1 p.m.
Fairmont State and Robert Morris will play a neutral site game at 12:30 p.m. at Vartabedian Field in-between Pitt's two home contests. Admission into Vartabedian Field is free for all ages.
Pitt recently opened fall competition last weekend with a double-header against Seton Hill. The Panthers combined for six home runs in both games and were victorious in both contests.
Gates open one hour prior to first pitch Saturday morning. The concession stand will be open nearest the baseball field grandstands. No outside food or drink is permitted.
Pitt concludes fall play Saturday, Oct. 9 at Saint Francis for a double-header starting at 1 p.m.
