PITTSBURGH – Twenty-nine members of the Pitt track and field team will compete at the 2020 ACC Indoor Championships, running from Thursday to Saturday at the Loftus Sports Center in South Bend, IN hosted by Notre Dame.

PITTSBURGH – Twenty-nine members of the Pitt track and field team will compete at the 2020 ACC Indoor Championships, running from Thursday to Saturday at the Loftus Sports Center in South Bend, IN hosted by Notre Dame.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- The Panthers' slate kicks off Thursday with the pentathlon at 11:00 a.m. followed by the heptathlon at 12:00 p.m. The men's distance medley relay will run at 7 p.m., followed by the women's at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday's events for Pitt will start with women's high jump at 12:00 p.m. and will run all day through the men's high jump at 6:15 p.m.
- Championships Saturday will begin with the men's 60 meter hurdles at 12:00 p.m. and conclude with the women's 4x400m relay at 3:50 p.m.

- The Florida State and Virginia Tech men enter this year's event as the defending ACC co-champions, while Miami is the reigning women's champion.
- After being ranked No. 1 nationally much of this season, the FSU men enter this week's meet holding the No. 9 spot in the latest USTFCCCA rankings to lead all ACC teams, while Virginia Tech is the highest ranked women's team at No 18. The Virginia Tech men are currently ranked No. 17 nationally, while Virginia holds the No. 20 spot. Notre Dame's women hold a No. 25 ranking.
- Three student-athletes enter this week's competition ranked No. 1 nationally in their respective events after setting ACC records in recent weeks.

- Eddita Pessima, 60m hurdles (2nd, 8.23)
- Taylor Middleton, long jump (5th, 6.06m)

- The Panthers will vie for NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships qualification, set for Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at the Albuquerque Convection Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
