2021-22 Indoor: Competed in six meets as a graduate student … Set a personal-best and the second-best mark in program history in the weight throw with 71' 10.25" (21.90m) and earned second place at the Razorback Invitational (Jan. 28-29) … Took first place in the weight throw at the YSU Icebreaker (Dec. 3) with a distance of 69' 9.5" (21.27m) … Threw a distance of 68' 7.25" (20.91m) in the weight throw and captured second place at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet.

2021 Outdoor: Competed in seven outdoor meets during his senior year … Competed at the NCAA Division 1 East Preliminary Round (May 26-29) and placed 18^th in the hammer throw with a distance of 63.86m which was also a new career high for him; also placed 22^nd in the javelin throw with a distance of 64.89m … Competed at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 13-15) and finished fourth in the discus throw while setting a new career high throw distance of 57.32m… Had a clean sweep at the Mountaineer Twilight (May1), winning in the discus throw (56.10m), hammer throw (61.02m), and javelin throw (56.29m)… Won in both discus (53.85m) and hammer throw (59.38m) at the Stan Romanoski Open (Mar 20).

2020-2021 Indoor: Appeared in three meets for the Panthers… Earned Second Team All-ACC honors in the weight throw at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27) as he finished in sixth place with a heave of 65’5.50” (19.95m)… Notched a personal record weight throw of 68’9.75” (20.97m), the second best in program history, at the Doc Hale Virginia Tech Elite (Feb. 6) to collect the win… Posted a personal record shot put throw of 46’4.75” (14.14m) to take 10^th place at the Doc Hale Virginia Tech Elite (Feb. 6).

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor: Competed in six meets during his junior indoor season for the Panthers... Earned First Team All-ACC honors in the weight throw after recording a second place finish at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27) with a personal record throw that traveled 67'4.75" (20.54m)... His second place finished earned eight team points for the Panthers... Posted a second place finish at the Virginia Tech Invitational (Jan. 17) in the weight throw after a heave of 65'1.25" (19.84m)... Also competed in the weight throw at the Penn State National (Jan. 31), Meyo Invitational (Feb. 7) and the Doug Raymond National (Feb. 14).

2019 Outdoor: Second team All-ACC in javelin… Participated in javelin at the NCAA Division I East Region Preliminary Rounds (May 25)… Finished sixth in javelin with a throw of 62.88m while setting a career and team-best 56.89m in the hammer throw at the ACC Championships (May 11)… Also participated in discus at the championships… Came in second in discus with a throw of 47.24m and fifth in the hammer throw with a distance of 52.52m at the Akron-Campbell-Wright Open (May 4)… Placed fifth in discus with a distance of 46.96m at the FSU Relays (March 23).

2018-19 Indoor: Placed seventh with a career and team-best 18.46 in the weight throw at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships (Feb. 23)… Placed fifth in the weight throw with a distance of 17.98m at the Kent State Doug Raymond Invite (Feb. 9)… Finished sixth in the weight throw at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 12) with a throw of 16.38m.

2018 Outdoor: Placed third and earned All-ACC first team honors in javelin at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 67.10m (May 10-12)… Represented Pitt in javelin at the NCAA East Preliminary Round (May 24-26)… Posted a personal best mark of 69.98m in javelin at the 49er Classic… Also competed at the Campbell/Wright Open, Penn Relays, Tennessee Relays and Raleigh Relays.

2017-18 Indoor: Competed at the Kent State National Qualifier (Feb. 10) in the weight throw, placing seventh with a personal best of 15.88m… Also participated at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-24) in the weight throw, placing 16th and a recorded 14.11m… Finished 21st in the weight throw at the 2018 Meyo Invitational (Feb. 2-3) with a mark of 13.58m.

High School: Attended La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, Pa.… As a junior was a Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) champion in discus and javelin… As a senior placed third at the Penn Relays, third at states and eighth at nationals… PCL champion in javelin, shotput and discus as a senior.

Personal: Son of Rodney Walker Sr. and Crystal Walker… Has an older brother, Rodney Jr., an older sister, Chelsea and a younger sister, Gabrielle… Father Rodney Walker Sr. played football at Temple… Intended major is engineering.
