Pitt to Face Wisconsin, Arkansas and Tennessee State
PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh women's basketball team travels to Nashville, Tenn., this weekend for the Challenge in Music City where the squad will take on Wisconsin, Arkansas and Tennessee State at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

- Saturday, Nov. 24 – Pitt vs. Arkansas, 8:30 p.m. ET

LAST TIME OUT
- The Panthers (2-3, 0-0 ACC) dropped their first road game of the season Monday, Nov. 19 to the Georgetown Hoyas, 70-41.
- Senior Cassidy Walsh led the team in scoring, finishing with 11 points on the night.
SCOUTING THE BADGERS
- Wisconsin enters the weekend 4-0 on the year after outlasting IUPUI 65-64 in overtime Monday, Nov. 19 in Madison.
- The Badgers are led by senior Marsha Howard, who has scored in double figures for 11 consecutive games and leads the team in scoring (60 pts / 15.0 ppg) and rebounds (39 reb / 9.8 rpg).
- As a team, Wisconsin has been aggressive on the boards, pulling down 200 total (50.0 rpg) and boast a +16.8 rebounding margin. The Badgers' 50.0 rpg rank third in the Big Ten.
- Wisconsin finished the 2017-18 season 9-21 overall with a 2-14 mark against Big Ten foes. The Badgers return four starters from a year ago and welcomed seven newcomers this season.
- Wisconsin is led by third-year head coach Jonathan Tsipis who is in his seventh year overall on the sidelines with a 114-81 career record.
SCOUTING THE RAZORBACKS
- Arkansas heads to Nashville with a 2-1 overall record after suffering its first loss of the season Sunday, Nov. 18 to No. 22 Arizona State, 85-83.
- The Razorbacks are led by junior guard Alexis Tolefree with 59 points on the year and is averaging 19.7 ppg. As a team, Arkansas is averaging 83.0 points per game.
- On the glass, junior forward Kiara Williams leads the way, pulling down 24 total boards and is averaging 8.0 on the year.
- The Razorbacks finished the 2017-18 season 13-18 overall and 3-13 against SEC opponents.
- Arkansas is led by second-year head coach Mike Neighbors who is in his sixth year on the sidelines. Neighbors own a 113-59 career record.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- Tennessee State enters the weekend 0-4 on the year after falling to Vanderbilt Wednesday, Nov. 21, 89-63.
- TSU is led by redshirt senior Tia Wooten who is averaging 17.0 ppg. Wooten finished the 2017-18 season averaging 21.2 ppg and 8.9 rpg.
- Sophomore Jaden Wrightsell leads the way on the glass for the Tigers, pulling down 37 on the year and averages 9.3.
- Tennessee State finished the 2017-18 season 6-21 overall with a 4-14 mark in Ohio Valley play.
- The Tigers are led by second-year head coach Jessica Kern, who is in her seventh season as a head coach.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Panthers' road swing will come to a close at the ACC/Big 10 Challenge in Evanston, Ill., when Pitt takes on Northwestern.
- The Panthers return to the Petersen Events Center Dec. 5, taking on Fordham in a game that will kick off a series of four straight at home.
