Junior Gabriela Rezende Recaps Panthers’ Third Day in Spain
Hola!
Our third day in Barcelona was great! We left our hotel around 10 a.m. to go to Club Tennis La Salut. Unfortunately, on our way to the club it started to rain a lot, so we were not able to practice. With the cancellation of our practice, we were surprised with another activity. We went to "The Escape Hunt Experience Barcelona" where we had so much fun! We separated in two groups with six people each and had 60 minutes to solve the mystery of a real case that happened in Barcelona in 1920's. My group managed to finish the case and found out the code that opened our door with five minutes and 44 seconds left.
In the afternoon, we walked to the tour bus and took the red line where we saw so many incredible sites. We all sat on the top of the bus where there is no ceiling, which gave us an awesome view of the beautiful city of Barcelona. On the tour bus, there was an audio panel in front of each seat with 15 languages available. They gave you headphones to connect it too and hear detailed information about all of the attractions we were seeing. The tour took around two hours where we stopover at the MNAC, the 1992 Olympic Park, National Museum of Art of Catalunya, Port Vell, Placa de Catalunya and other sites.
After the tour, we went to dinner at Restaurante Tagliatella. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in Barcelona. They had delicious pizzas with a very thin crust. It was amazing. We ended the day watching a Flamenco show at Las Ramblas. We loved it so much! It was incredibly amazing. It was the first time I watched a flamenco show, and this specific one was unbelievable. After the show, we left the place dancing. We had so much fun!
We had a fantastic day! Wednesday we have a competition in the morning with a team from China and we are so excited to play as team.
Hail to Pitt,
Gabriela Rezende
