Hello from Barcelona,
Thursday was the last day in Barcelona. Time is passing so fast and I can't believe we are almost half way through our trip!
Today, we left the hotel around 9 a.m. and we went to the BTT Tennis Academy to play matches against college players from China. In this tennis academy, there were 16 clay courts and two hard courts. At the beginning of the match, it was cloudy and a little bit colder than usual, but sun came out as the match went on. We played both singles and doubles. We started playing around 10 a.m. and ended all the matches at 2 p.m. The condition of the courts were not the best because of rain in the night but we all ended up playing doubles on clay courts and it was a great experience.
We had lunch at the club right after the match. I chose tomato salad and fish from menu and they were delicious. Since I came to Barcelona, I still did not find any food that I do not like. We went back to the hotel around 3:30 p.m. to take shower and take nap.
In the evening, we went shopping on the street called Paseig de Grácia. There were a lot of stores and we all went crazy on shopping for more than two hours.
For dinner, we went to the bay and ate at the restaurant called 1881. The view from rooftop was amazing because we were by the harbor. It made tapas, seafood and paella.
Friday we are moving to Mallorca with the morning flight. We can't wait to visit another part of Spain!
Hail to Pitt!
