CINCINNATI – Six different Panthers contributed from 3-point range in a 66-46 road win for Pitt women's basketball (4-1, 0-0 ACC) at Cincinnati (3-2, 0-0 American) Tuesday night at St. Ursula Academy.
Redshirt junior forward Yacine Diop led Pitt in scoring for the fourth consecutive outing with a game-high 17 points. She was 6-of-6 at the free throw line, contributing to the Panthers' perfect 7-of-7 night from the charity stripe. She added three assists and a team-high six rebounds.

Walsh hit all three of her 3-pointers in the quarter; Gribble had two, and Diop and freshman Kyla Nelson had one apiece. The Panthers ended the stanza on a 12-0 run with all points scored from beyond the arc.
Although the Bearcats used an 8-0 run to come within 13 points, the Panthers kept pace and extended their lead to 25 at the end of the third, up 54-29. Whitney scored the last five points of the quarter for Pitt, including a layup at the buzzer.
Freshman Pika Rodriguez became the sixth Panther to hit a triple when she connected at the 8:01 mark in the fourth quarter, and added another at the 2:48 mark to give Pitt a 30-point margin (63-33).
