Women's Tennis Hosts California (Pa.) on Wednesday

PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh women’s tennis team returns to action on Wednesday, March 28 when it hosts California (Pa.) at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness Club at noon.
The Panthers (8-6) are coming off consecutive Big East wins, defeating Villanova (6-1) and Seton Hall (5-2) this past weekend.
Sophomore Taylor Washington paces the squad in singles action with a 17-7 record at the No. 3 position. She has won three of her last four matches.
In doubles play, the freshmen pairing of Amanda Wickman and Molly Wickman improved to 14-3 with an 8-3 victory versus Seton Hall on Sunday. The twins have posted a win in seven of their last eight contests.
California (Pa.) (11-5) defeated George Washington (5-2) on Saturday, its third win over an NCAA Division I opponent this season.
