Women's Tennis Travels For Two Matches

PITTSBURGH-The University of Pittsburgh women's tennis team wraps up its regular season schedule with two road matches, this weekend. First, the Panthers travel to Cincinnati on Friday, April 10, for a 1 p.m. match. Then they face non-conference opponent Marshall in Huntington, W.Va. on Saturday, April 11, at 4 p.m.
Sophomore Elizabeth Adams (Reading, Pa./Wilson) looks to extend her three-match win streak and earn her 20th victory of the year. She currently leads the team with 19 singles wins.
The Panthers (11-6, 6-2 Big East) have recorded their fourth consecutive 10-win season and seek a school record seventh victory in conference play this weekend.
Cincinnati (14-6, 5-1 Big East) is coming off a 4-3 win over Xavier on April 1. In the all-time series, the Bearcats hold a slight lead at 3-2.
Marshall (12-9) is coming off a 6-1 victory over Middle Tennessee. Pitt seeks its second win in the 12-match series.
