Women's Tennis Falls On Road

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.--The Pitt women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Marshall at Huntington Tennis Club on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers slip to 1-2 on the season, while the Herd improved to 7-2.
The Panthers closest double matchup was in the No. 2 slot, where junior Christie D'achille (Gibsonia, Pa./North Allegheny) and sophomore Sabrina Visram (Windermere, Fla./Lake Highland Prep.) won six games in the match.
D'Achille also played well in singles was she earned four games in the second set of her match in No. 4 singles.
Sophomore Anna Broverman (Asbury, W.Va./George Washington) saw her first action of the season in No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
Pitt faces Cincinnati at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
