Jon Wilson joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in January of 2025 as Director of Business Services. In this role, Wilson is responsible for satisfying the financial reporting and analytical requirements of the Athletic Department and assisting with budgetary functions.
Before arriving at Pitt, Wilson spent time as an Assistant AD for Business and Finance at Kent State Athletics. In this role, Wilson was responsible for overseeing the business operations for the athletic department.
A 2017 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in sports management, Wilson was part of the baseball team while also working in the Athletics Business Office as a Graduate Assistant. During this time, Kent State Baseball went on to win 3 MAC championships and appeared in the 2012 College World Series. Wilson was also a student leader in the FCA program for two years as an undergraduate.
A Pittsburgh, PA, native, Wilson resides in McCandless with his wife, Danielle, and their three kids, Miyah, Ayla, and Caden.
