JUNIOR (2006): Bobby Bell made seven appearances on the mound for the Panthers as a transfer from Erie Community College...put in 9.2 innings of work, finishing with a 10.24 ERA and a 1-2 record...gave up 24 hits, 19 runs and 11 earned runs...recorded three walks and nine strikeouts...earned first collegiate victory in a 10-6 win over Akron by striking out two in 1.2 innings of work...had two strikeouts in four different games of relief for the Panthers.
AT ERIE COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Bobby Bell helped Erie Community College to the NJCAA Division III World Series, in which new teammate Seth Button helped Gloucester County College to the title... helped Erie CC to the Region III title...named to the All-Region III Second Team as a right-handed pitcher...went 5-0 in 2005 with a 3.27 ERA, striking out 28 batters in 33 innings.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bell was a starting pitcher and outfielder for Olean High in Southwestern New York...was also a standout basketball player at Olean High, earning Birds Eye Foods Player of the Week honors.
